Polka Dots & Pastels

Baking for a 95th birthday party coming up and the request was for "polka dots" and "pastel colors". I aim to please and am super pleased with results. I think the customer will be as well! Stay tuned for a springy, pastel cake to match these tasty little treats.

I am heading off to Ohio's wine country on Lake Erie for a girl's weekend! One of my girl's is getting married next month and we are off to celebrate! Cortney and I have maintained a friendship since kindergarten/first grade. We live hours apart, at one point lived states apart, and yet we manage to keep in touch. Sometimes the length of time in between catch-ups is significant and yet... we pick up where we left off. Excited for next month's nuptials and excited for a little get away.
